Does water damage blazes?
In addition to normal weapons, blazes can be hurt by snowballs, taking 3 damage (1 1/2 hearts) per hit. If they have found a way into the Overworld, they are also damaged by water and even rain. Water does roughly 1 damage every second. Like most Nether mobs, they are not damaged by fire or lava.
The great news is that you won't need to drown the Blaze mobs—they're allergic to water and will die when it touches them.
Blaze take damage from water. Snow Can damage and kill a blaze. Blaze only shoot when they have a clear shot. Blaze fireballs can't be deflected.
Weaknesses. Water Susceptibility: Blazes are vulnerable to water in all its forms; puddles, lakes and rivers will damage them if they are somehow pushed into them (although they will avoid these hazards whilst moving of their own accord), and even rain will cause a Blaze harm.
Splash water bottles
damage to endermen, striders, snow golems, and blazes; however, endermen have a chance of teleporting away if hit with one.
A snowball will be deemed the best weapon against them. Snowballs can deal 3 damage per hit (one and a half hearts of damage) and it takes a total of 7 snowball hits to completely kill one mob. If players do run out of snowballs, they can still fight them with ranged and melee weapons.
You could lower their health with suffocation and use thorns armor while holding a looting sword (if you don't want to use an autoclicker), but it'll probably take damage over time (maybe with mending + unbreaking it survives). You can also use tnt, but it would have to be placed by the player.
Blazes no longer attempt to swim in water or lava, instead sinking to the bottom.
Like most Nether mobs, they are immune to damage from fire and lava.
When building a blaze farm using a spawner, it is recommended to light up the area around the spawner temporarily, so that blazes don't spawn while you're building the farm itself. Blazes will spawn around a spawner if there is a light level of 11 or lower (lower half of their body).
Are snowballs effective against blazes?
Snowballs deal no damage, with one exception. Against blazes, which are creatures literally made of fire, snowballs deal one and a half hearts of damage.

Experience amounts by source.

Every hostile mob drops 5 exp. orbs when they are killed. The value of these orbs can is random though. The exception to this is the blaze, which drops 10 exp.
What's weird is that the blaze doesn't take fire or lava damage but takes damage when submerged in water but the Blaze Rod that drops from Blazes when they die does burn when it falls in lava or into fire and it doesn't burn when it falls into water.
Metal bottles are safe to use as long as they are made of high-quality stainless steel and are clean. Unlike plastic, stainless steel is a safe and non-toxic material that won't leach chemicals into your water. Also, metal bottles are more durable.
They reduce the length of the effect by 25% of the original effect.
The only way you can get your hands on the desired items is by killing blazes. Unfortunately, this flying enemy only hangs out in the nether. So, before you can acquire blaze rods, you need to build a nether portal.
Entities on fire now melt powder snow on colliding. Skeletons now convert into strays after 7 seconds (140 game ticks). Blazes, magma cubes, and striders now take extra damage from freezing. Strays, polar bears, and snow golems are now immune to freezing.
Do torches stop blazes from spawning?
Blazes spawn at light level 11 or lower. Torches give light level 14, so one torch blaze-proofs two blocks in every direction (diamond-shaped) on the given level, or one in every direction if it is one level below, or just the block above itself it is two levels below... Note different floor levels.
The end portal needs 12 eyes of ender maximum, and it's best to have some extra eyes of ender in case they break. One blaze rod makes two blaze powder, so 6 rods at least, 7-8 recommended.
Behavior. The strider is a passive, rideable mob that can survive and walk on lava. They can only be controlled by a warped fungus on a stick, similar to how pigs can be controlled with a carrot on a stick. Striders can also be bred with warped fungus.
What's weird is that the blaze doesn't take fire or lava damage but takes damage when submerged in water but the Blaze Rod that drops from Blazes when they die does burn when it falls in lava or into fire and it doesn't burn when it falls into water.
Water and lava are the only two fluids available in Minecraft. Players can use both to prevent land mobs from spawning. Aquatic mobs can still spawn in water, and similarly, striders can spawn in lava in their respective biomes.
The easiest way to kill blazes in survival is to block the fireballs with your sword so that way it comes towards them, hurting the blaze. A fishing rod also makes an effective weapon for luring them in, and then attacking them until they die. Never attack a blaze without some form of armour.
Netherite items are more powerful and durable than diamond, and in dropped item form are resistant to fire or lava. Netherite blocks are also unbreakable by the strongest explosions from normal gameplay, with the exception of blue wither skulls.
Under the lava, make a three-block high tube for blazes using any preferred blocks. Place the bottom slab upon a hopper connected to the chest. Blazes will fall on this slab. Players can easily hit the blaze from the gap, and farm blaze rods along with XP.
Placing water causes it to instantly evaporate since the Nether is so hot. Things don't work the same in the Nether, which is why beds explode, and water evaporates on impact.
You can't put water directly into the Nether without console commands. It evaporates. But in survival, there is a loophole where you can put down a cauldron and place the water in there. It goes in, but you can't use it for anything besides bath water or to put yourself out when you're on fire.
Are blazes immune to lava?
Immune mobs
Many Nether mobs (blazes, ghasts, magma cubes, striders, wither skeletons, zoglins, zombified piglins) are naturally resistant to fire and lava, and are unaffected by the Fire Resistance status effect. Wardens are also resistant to fire and lava, despite not spawning in the Nether.
Nether wart blocks are no longer destroyed by water or lava.
1. Many people have underwater conduit powered bases, and since nether portals aren't waterloggable, they cant have easy access to the nether in their base without clearing water, which can ruin the vibe of he base.
Blazes will spawn around a spawner if there is a light level of 11 or lower (lower half of their body). When you remove the light sources within the cage, you may need a potion of Fire Resistance to survive a swarm of blazes.
Unless it's the Nether. In the nether, when you place Sponges, they dry out. If you place water, it evaporates.
It's a nether portal that turns off and reveals a door behind it. However I've discovered that there are only two ways to break a nether portal. With TNT, or with a dispenser placed facing into the portal block with a water bucket in it.
What's weird is that the blaze doesn't take fire or lava damage but takes damage when submerged in water but the Blaze Rod that drops from Blazes when they die does burn when it falls in lava or into fire and it doesn't burn when it falls into water.
The only way you can get your hands on the desired items is by killing blazes. Unfortunately, this flying enemy only hangs out in the nether. So, before you can acquire blaze rods, you need to build a nether portal.
A full set of netherite armor will give you temporary fire resistance so that you will not take immediate fire damage, this means blaze, ghasts, fire aspect swords, bows exc.. , cannot set you on fire and each time you come in contact with fire or lava it won't hurt you when it comes in contacts with you for a couple ...
