At what point is a package considered lost?
If seven (7) or more days have passed since the date of mailing and the recipient has confirmed the item has not arrived, you may either submit a search request for your lost mailpiece and/or email us.
UPS requires the shipper to report any lost packages. Wait 24 hours AFTER the delivery window. Once the report is received, UPS will perform a package search. Package searches can take up to 10 business days.
How long does a UPS claim investigation take? UPS claims tend to take about ten days to investigate and process completely, at which point you could receive a full refund should your claim prove successful. The shipper, receiver, or a third party can file a claim.

How many times will UPS tried to deliver a package?

The USPS considers a package lost if tracking information has not been updated in seven days. If you are concerned that your tracking number is not updating and the package has been lost, you can place a missing shipment search with USPS.
Regular delivery hours for UPS end at 7 pm for residential addresses. The delivery cutoff is the end of the business day for deliveries to business addresses. However, UPS drivers will continue to make deliveries after 7 pm, so some packages may arrive later.
“Out for delivery” means that your package has left the final pickup point and is on its way to your doorstep. So, your package will be delivered either that same day or the next day.

USPS may reimburse you for stolen, lost or missing packages if the mail was insured. If your packages weren't insured, they likely won't issue a refund. Instead, you'll want to contact the seller. This holds for other delivery services, too.
